What is the plan here?!
Hey everyone, I’m Anna in Indiana, from the Jacob’s Cabin Lost Podcast. When Lost ends, I need something to do, and I’m not quite ready to commit to a new podcast yet. So I was thinking, what can I do? Before I got so involved in podcasting, I used to read some for LibriVox, where volunteers create great audio books with public domain resources, so my idea is to do the same here–but with books that appeared on the TV show Lost. I’m going to start with Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens, since that was the book that Desmond was saving to read until right before he died. Seems appropriate, what with Lost coming to an end. Other books I hope to get to eventually include Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens, and The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne. Maybe also Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky if I feel adventurous enough. We’ll see how it goes…in the meantime, subscribe and enjoy!
